Senator David Carlucci was on Mornings with Maria saying that this is a new time where a President can get reelected with negative numbers.

Maria then pointed out that Trump said that his first priority when choosing his VP is the person has to be ready to be President on day one in case something happens to him.

She then asked Senator Carlucci if being ready to be President was what Joe Biden's priority was when he chose Harris..

He replied yes, Joe picked Harris because she could step in as President.

Thank God I had my coffee already. I feel like I lost brain cells watching that.
