Some of those authors need to learn that one shouldn't necessarily judge a course by its title. Which may be, you know, ironic, or provocative, or a number of other things.

So you seem to favor chucking the study of cultures worldwide, and of their history. Super! Let's resist learning about the past, so we can repeat it over and over again. Hey, why should anyone learn about literature, much less bother to create it going forward? Is the idea to lower the common denominator to the point where everyone is equally uneducated? That would appear to be what you want.
