Of course not. The Party of junk science and conspiracy theories gives not a whit for public education much less elite education.

The Chips and Science Bill is doing more for the kinds of technical, math, education needed for the new chip manufacturing facilities jobs, most of which will require a good HS education, than anything that the GOP has proposed.
