Funny, I didn't see even one fat person.

The Great Depression... they didn't have the money splurge on food.
Unlike today, money coupled with fast & junk food plus grocery stores and sedentary lifestyles = Big Fatsos..
Watching "The Food that Built America" series on the History Channel as I type.
"Built" this country into one of the fattest in the world.

Gluttony... one of the Seven Deadly Sins.
The result is everywhere you look these days.
