My own opinion of the call was that it was good. Hong outlined the increase in revenue. He outlined the increase in market outlook for chip sales. He outlined plans to appeal the PTAB decisions using both the PTO appeal process and then (if needed), to the CAFC level. He also outlined the continued heavy investment into the CXL chip development and stated it would be an important part of the company in last half of this decade.

He made clear his disdain of the PTAB process and his astonishment that the 912 (claim16) patent IPR request was even considered again, never mind that it was granted and then overturned - after the SAME PTAB AND the CAFC looked at it and said it WAS patentable 5 TIMES in the last 14 years.

It is unbelievable to me that anyone could come to the conclusion that Hong was thinking of basically "throwing in the towel". I listened to the SAME CC you did and I don't not feel that way at all. Was Hong's disappointment at the PTAB decisions evident? Of course. But all I see is Hong making plans to appeal them.

Right about now is when quite a lot is happening. Multiple trials and decisions will take place in the next 1-6 months.

I just cannot understand why anyone would suddenly develop a dour outlook at this particular time.
