Since you keep harping on this topic, lets review who should learn technical analysis.

Maybe you should consider learning some technical analysis….Learn to read CHARTS



Tell me what the Chart School is saying about gap analysis. No personal attack or name calling please, calling someone an asshole doesn't make your flawed analysis correct.

For an up gap to form, the low price after the market closes must be higher than the high price of the previous day. Up gaps are generally considered bullish. A down gap is the opposite of an up gap; the high price after the market closes must be lower than the low price of the previous day.



Did the April 3 and 4 trades satisfy the above definition of a gap? Or what does the candlesticks chart shows in terms of gap analysis? Your definition of a gap analysis fails on both.

There are two separate things: the technical school definition of gap analysis and self-fulfilling prophecy of a gap analysis. The latter comes to fruition when more you talk about it and more novice traders start believing/acting on it, albeit flawed definition.
