Here is one of the main issues i have with the recent developments...

It certainly appears Delfin had been updating MARAD over the last few years with what they thought they needed to do in order to stay compliant - but, after two years of NOT hearing back and this is the first thing they hear and they are asked to completely re-submit with new guidelines??!

that doesnt sit well with me.

If MARAD had certain updates/guidelines they wanted or needed to see from Delfin along the way then shouldnt that have been communicating with them throughout the process - did the goalposts move that drastically and Delfin really had no idea? that doesnt make any sense to me.

Or, did MARAD truly leave them in the dark for over two years and then refuse to give them an update on what guidelines/updates they needed to provide. if thats the case, there is no doubt in my mind that this project is just being used as a political piece.

also coincidental that two days after Cruz and Cassidy ink a letter they get a denial...hmmmm...its all a shady and f'd up business...
