I believe the rape contention comes from a general passage of unsubstantiated information that a dress existed that carroll claims had semen on it and she kept it for years. If that were true, wouldn't dna still exist in some detectable form. I read people said it wouldn't be good enough but that came from right pundits against the dress rumor. If this rumor that she was honest about a dress is true, it wasn't allowed as evidence any how.
