Starlink’s direct to cell is limited to 8mb of data For the entire swath of the satalite. So divide that speed up amongst everyone in range of that satalite.

The technologies are not comparable today.
(Um, with DLOC not even having a demo of real technology at all… but that’s why we are all here on the floor looking up)

Yes starlink may upgrade that bandwidth… but that’s new satalites.

The play here is : use legacy AND new satalites to produce voice and video quality data connections to wireless devices (not just phones)

Cellular/wireless frequencies and satalite frequencies are different and of course like ll frequency HEAVILY regulated. This could be a very sneaky way to unlock new spectrum for wireless communications altogether… which is big money.
