German Legalization

The cannabis law in Germany came into effect on April 1. After the final vote in the Federal Council, where no majority was reached to call a mediation committee, the law was signed on March 27 by Manuela Schwesig on behalf of the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and could thus, as announced in advance, come into effect at the beginning of April.



This allows the cultivation of up to three cannabis plants at home, the possession of 50 g of cannabis, and the carrying of up to 25 g of cannabis in public for adults in Germany. Cannabis clubs can submit their license applications starting July 1.



The application process is legally required to last no longer than three months, and the necessary regulations and ordinances will be developed and published by the respective ministries in the federal states by July 1.



Luxora will now closely coordinate with the relevant authorities and our club clients to intensively accompany the further process, to ensure as smooth and fast a transition as possible to the licensing procedures starting on July 1.

New team member Luxora


We are particularly pleased to welcome John Barnet as a member of the Luxora Advisory Board. John brings years of experience in the Canadian market, specializing in creating mass-scale cannabis cultivation techniques for facilities ranging in size from 40,000 to 1,000,000 sqft.



In 2016 John was one the first twenty employees at Aurora Cannabis Inc., where he ascended to the role of Senior Director of Cultivation up until 2021. Between 2022 and 2023, he served as Senior Crop Consultant at ALPS Inc.



At Luxora, he will offer advisory support in facility design, process definition, the creation of custom fertigation formulas, and SOPs for Luxora Solutions in Germany. Furthermore, John's expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the consultancy services Luxora provides to cannabis clubs.



We are proud to welcome such a seasoned veteran of the legal cannabis industry to the Luxora Advisory Board and eagerly anticipate collaborating with John on our initiatives in the German market.

March 2024 was closed with an estimated revenue of 316,000.00 USD and Q1 with an estimated revenue of $940,700.00 USD.

The International Cannabis Business Conference taking place from April 16 to 17, 2024, in Berlin, is Europe's largest B2B event in the cannabis industry. Evo NXT Málaga

On April 5, 2024 Luxora's CSO, Stefan Röhrl, participated as a speaker on a panel about NPGs (New Product Groups) at the business festival Evo NXT in Málaga.
