I believe that a good deal of the talk about unprecedented starvation in Gaza is hyperbole. Ask Ukrainians about the Holodomor or Chinese about The Great Leap Forward or North Koreans or the people in the DRC or Yemen now.

That’s not to say it’s not bad in Gaza now, but words have meanings. The problem is the same with using genocide to describe the situation or calling people you don’t like Nazis. It causes powerful words to have their meanings diluted, their impacts lessened, pointlessly in service to a battle on social media

My point actually is that Gazans and Israelis have a common enemy in Hamas. Once they get rid of that terrorist death cult, all the people in the region can get on with their lives. Everything else can be negotiated
