Thanks hweb on DRX.to vs HBM.to: I am in Canada. The tax free saving account in Canada discourages investors to do short term trading. Any short term trading profit will be included in the taxable income. It could occur heavy penalty in case it is not properly declared. Therefore, I rarely sell stocks in the tax free saving account. Yesterday I indeed sold 6781 shares of hbm.to at $9.49 in the tax free saving account. I bought 17800 copper mountain (cum.to/cmmc.to) shares at $0.68 each on Aug 25, 2015. hbm.to bought cmmc.to on June 23, 2023 at ratio 0.381:1. My 17800 cmmc.to shares became 6781 hbm.to shares at $1.785 each. Do you think if it was wise in selling hmb.to yesterday at $9.49 per share but continue to keep drx.to until $20-30 per share?
