At the very least TDS will wither a bit when they choose 87 at the pump.
Me thinks the least narcissistic guy in my lifetime was J Carter who could not win a second term so I must agree

tough, strong effective executives generally are not likable people, but are really good to do business with when they are on my side


Reagan seemed to be the exception on likability, but folks were warmed by his role playing on screens, he was never cast as weak.
Sadly we are shaped by media for much of their caricature.

K2 - Maybe clothespins handed out at the voting booth would help? We know libs need them too. How many times have we said or heard, "He was not my first choice" after our guy won?
