Yeah, there are those who would drop money for the pref pay out, for sure, if a buck or more per pref share that's like anywhere form a quick 15%-25% gain. Some would jump for the FMCC pay out who are math lazy (there are lots who are). You give the retail 401k investors too much credit. You think they operate like a seasoned broker? Nope. They jump at whatever seems like free money.
