Kool Aid Before that I invested in SPZI because it appeared to be a stock that had potential for rising several hundred percent. The company had developed some trading algorithms that could be expected to generate a lot of profit as far as I remember. But things did not work out and the pps suffered accordningly. When the pps hd dropped to $ 0.0001 I bought about 47 million shares at that price. Later trading stopped and I was stuck for more than 10 years. The company was not broke but had gone private as far as I know. Therefore I could not use my apparent loss for tax purposes. I thought a mistake had occurred when my European broker one day I checked showed a value of more than 40,000 dollars.
