were you a seal? and if so was it at Little Creek? One of my brothers was stationed there, actually retired from that Base. I used to go to the Gator Theatre with him to see movies before they hit the street. My youngest brother flew 100 sorties in the Gulf war from the Saratoga in 91', He said he just followed orders, night after night. My oldest brother was in Viet Nam in late 60s. I had a couple uncles in WWII one in Africa, the other was one of the First Paratroopers into Germany, he would tell me he had the shrapnel in his hand to prove it. lol. My Grandfather was in WWI, He is also in the Rare picture of the man made Liberty Bell they took the shot at Fort Hood. He was in the area of the lower right corner of the Bell, he had a picture of it that he showed me when i was a kid.

He also worked for the RailRoad at the time the Titanic went down, he heard the distress signal go over the wire in Hamilton NY. his job was to go along the tracks and pick up body parts from Bums and Hobos that fell off, or were pushed off trains. Everything we have today is someone standing on someone else's shoulders. Those people are all forgotten, the freedoms we have today allow everyone to forget. which is no bid deal, its the forgiveness part that means everything. I thank God for all the Jewish scientists and engineers that came here before WWII, They helped make us the greatest Nation on earth up to that point. No man will ever get into Heaven with a heart filled with hate. I stood out looking at SF National Cemetary a couple weeks ago, i made it a point to tie every head stone with a young man who followed orders and gave his life for this country. Their parents didnt see them anymore, they will never know the freedoms they preserved, never have a family, never finish the life their mother started for them. I just hope they are all in Heaven, safe, forever.
