In looking at Spiber's site a few things strike me as peculiar...

1) Their "products" you say they've sold, or are selling, are listed as "PROJECTS."

2) ALL those "PROJECTS" are made with a teensy bit of their...BREWED PROTEINS ™. (They're proud to list that in describing each "PROJECT")

3) NOWHERE DO THEY MENTION SPIDER SILK. AT ALL!

One would have to be delusional to think they're "winning" in the Spider Silk "race." Sadly for those in love with them, it seems when they stated they had pivoted away from Spider Silk, they really meant it. Look for the name change soon. I wonder if "Goo-"ber sounds as weird in Japanese as it does in English?
