SYNOPSIS
High pressure along the eastern seaboard today will weaken, allowing winds to gradually decrease and develop a more southerly component Tuesday and Wednesday. An incoming large long period swell will keep boating conditions poor to hazardous for a prolonged period, especially near inlets. The next cold front will approach by mid week, with the front pushing across the local waters on Thursday.

GULF STREAM HAZARDS
East winds 20 knots and gusty this morning decreasing to 15 knots late this afternoon. Seas 8 to 10 feet, subsiding 6 to 8 feet tonight.

The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream based on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Sunday, March 24th.
