I have watched the SeaVac 300 video with genuine interest. A presumably very expensive but obviously limited performance tool. Observing it's performance in the video, it hardly has the power to suck the dirt off the living room floor.

I say this because I have been on shipwreck excavation teams using 5 inch water jet induction venturi systems with tremendous suction. Yes, the water was, via hose, supplied from the surface. So what. I have operated 8 inch airlift systems at depths of 100 feet. Surface supplied air. So what. When a proper salvage vessel is moored (anchored) over the wreck site. These are the excavation systems used. From a professional, commercial perspective, the SeaVac 300 is at best limited performance divers toy. I hope the SFRX personnel are smart enough to realize this is not the tool to excavate through the solidified worm poop on the billion dollar treasure wreck.
