last night laser infrared comms from earth to us spacecraft psyche? to and fro......duh, ploinks and puddle from 10million miles apart....aiming/targeting lasers and webservers on both sides of the communications? encrypted to avoid hacks, eaves dropping and such not desired.
why space lasers ? to avoid tipping off aliens we are advancing to a point of concern to them? so would say the general sci fi ingesting public, including me.

part of our armament build up is the msft/nvidia cloud based supercomputer ai.......why the azure node? well, partially because the earth rotates and we need to keep in contact with target as we rotate. wags....
