LJ: 2020 changed the whole car-sales model, no pun intended. No longer can we browse a car lot and look at a big selection of new vehicles. That model worked in favor of the buyer.
Now you have to order your vehicle and wait.
The pandemic was the worst thing to hit this country since WWII. To be honest, it destroyed the American work ethic. Case in point--the chronic problem of filling retail jobs. Also, people who started working from home are loathe to return to an office setting.
Pre-pandemic, the best thing about the U.S. economy was a workforce that was the best in the world, a workforce of people who worked like Trojans (the historical figures, not the other thing).
