Manchin would have had very little support from anyone...he held congress hostage while annointing himself the king of the IRA bill which he fashioned into whatever he wanted it to be be...congress had little choice but to vote for it...

but the now the IRA bill has been held hostage for years while congress sees to it that it gets what it wanted in the first place as they pick it apart little by little using policy, rules and rulings...

manchin is not happy about it but i dont know what he thought was going to happen?...he thought he would triumph over congress?..lol

manchin made it diffcult for congress to feed at the trough...they are used to getting fed first...which is what they are currently doing...they know if trump gets elected, that whole IRA bill is toast...which is fine with them, now that they have gotten fat off of it...
