Today he writes

Just wanted to clarify that $bllb @bell_buckle is in the process of negotiating a merger. As per their last PR, they are in the final stages of a merger.

IMO it makes no sense for Nick to ask people on Sunday to contact BLLB via OTC with any "vetted opportunities" for merger IF one actually is still in its "final stages."

Sounds to me like something fell apart over the weekend, Nick resigned and clearly gave readers the impression that BLLB is shopping for a merger partner. Then today, trying to walk back that statement.
