A new theory that makes sense to me is hedge funds battling each other. Big Money HF-Bears get caught in a bear trap by big money HF-bear trappers (Aka Bulls).

Retail does not have the fire power for the shenanigans we saw here recently. This one could be overseas Asian money teaching Goldmansucks-a-lot bears some new zoo tricks?
