this was true and was a concern of mine...but china is no longer the biggest economy...the USA is...China is where all the cheap labor is and is where many companies in the US turned to in order to reduce costs...but they are now discovering that there are other costs involved when you become reliant on a communist country...especially when that country's economy starts having difficuties...

before the Ukraine war, Europe depended heavily on Russian oil...they no longer do...in fact, they no longer really need Russian oil...

the same will happen with China...that, and the fact that the US military absolutely does not want to rely on china for the things they need and will insist that their supply chain remain solely in the US, made me look at the China situation differently...

imo, even if the military were to be our only customer, kblb could do fabulously...so whats to worry about from China?...

and in addition, ill add that although China is the worlds biggest supplier of mundane silk, it is by no means the only...there are many countries that also produce and sell silk profitably...

the conclusion is that China cannot supply all that the world needs...and it will not supply all the spider silk that the world needs...
