NVDA is best of breed and in demand. Companies don't want 2nd best in this arena.

As to EVs, exactly what you said. The batteries degrade quickly, especially if rapid charge is used. Cold also affects the batteries.

Had a friend who purchased an EV. At first it was great. Then when the check engine liggt came on he took it to the dealer as the car was still under warranty. Dealer said the car needed new batteries, but refused to cover under warranty, despite the claims that the batteries last 200k miles. He had 95k miles on the car. The dealer wanted more than $20K to replace the batteries. So he gave them the keys and stopped making payments. Now he hates EVs. Of course your experience may be different.
