It might be better to ask who owned the majority of common stock before the A/S was increased and then ask why did THEY approve the A/S increase. I suspect that THEY are not concerned about the PPS being so low and THEY understand that lower PPS makes it easier for ExxeGroup to buyback stock....sort of a win-win for the company and ALCON.
