Next, we need to examine the concept of expert. This board is the free expression of information that given, and as such, I imagine that the public following the forum would expect truthful information.

Now, if someone has posted that a company is a scam, a fraud or something similar, one would expect that they would have rock solid proof that what they are saying is true. These terms carry enormous weight and enormous liability.

Scam, sham are have a wiggle room for what they meant. Fraud doesn’t. Won’t bore the board with its definition. But if you call a company a fraud the you better be 100 % sure.

News flash, I have read all the links and more and I have news for you: Guilt by and because of association and assumptions aren’t proof of anything. And, it’s doesn’t make you guilty just because your best friend is a drug dealer. If you don’t know, then you’re not going to jail because they find your fingerprints in the house.

Now, changing directions, what about some one who has been posting daily for years and years and years. Correcting people, establishing that they are the expert on the subject. Does that make them an expert? Does that matter if they are or are not an expert? The real question is by posting as an expert have they taken on the mantle of being the expert? Don’t know.

But if they post misleading information about the company, for example, the companies technology,

Now, if they posted something like this:

“The platform is an unpatentable shallow water ROV built around readily available third party sensors.”

Unpatentable. What was he saying? That he knows what technology is in this equipment and he knows that the technology is not unique, in fact it is “readily available third party sensors “

“Even the “alleged” machine learning algorithms touted by SFRX are not a new idea and are being used by many other providers of subsea survey sensors.”

Alleged. His quotation marks, giving emphasis to the statement,

So, what affect does he want the reader, the stockholders to take away from his post? Positive or negative? And how does he know anything about the vehicle or its software? I can’t find anything about the software, innerworkings or anything. So, why does he make such statements about something he doesn’t have any knowledge about? Don’t know. He’s the expert.
