It is logical that Viking would use a West Coast facility for making its oral( liquid capsule or solid pill) or injectable form of its weight loss med or its dementia/AD med. HALO’s CEO is attending 3 conferences in March; she is reported to not have attended the JPM conference in January. VKTX is located in San Diego. CDMO has an updated reactor facility in Tustin and a totally new reactor plant near John Wayne airport, a little further north from Tustin. Forest City and south San Francisco, homes of GILD and JNJ reactor/manufacturing facilities, are still further north. CDMO is a supplier to HALO.
