Rama at the summit in London: Albania has changed a lot! We are a good place to add serious investments

Prime Minister Edi Rama participated in the Investment Summit for the Region, held in London. The head of the government gave an online speech, as he was not physically present, where, among other things, he gave the reasons why entrepreneurs should invest in Albania.

He said that Albania has already changed a lot.

"The region is doing well and while the world is also changing, Albania has changed a lot. From a country with the stigma of an unsafe country, to a country which last year reached a figure of 10 million tourists, more than three times the population we have", said Rama.

He mentioned the new energy resources, while he said that before Albania's energy system was "almost being destroyed", because, as he said, "the majority of the population did not pay the bills".

"The price of electricity in Albania has not changed at all and we are below the regional levels", he said.

Rama added that: "Together with other countries in the region, we are a good place to add serious investments. They should (invest), because if they don't, someone else will."
