New Ground?

Start with Stakeholder theory being replaced with share holder theory..... Corps no longer felt obligated to society only themselves.....

Leading to Free not Fair trade.....The US made history being the first country to sell off their industrial base. Which originally made the country a great power, made a prosperous and strong middle class with thriving communities a cross the country...

At the same time democrats began taking corporate money....Which not only influences the politicians but laws to allow a flood of money into elections........No amount of grass root donations can compete, so who are the true constituents?

On to grid lock and the beginnings of the extremes controlling parties..........wages stagnating, benefits gone, tax bases diminished, leading to community and foundational issues....2 k shaped recoveries and a third in progress

On to Inequity, a subject we've also discussed......leave the corps unchained and they run amuck taking from middle and giving to themselves..... You can only post so much about so few holding such a large portion of the world's wealth, its beyond the guilded age....Remember the 50 trillion taken from the middle....

All that has consequences as they've accumulated over the years.......Then there is plenty of history as to what extreme inequity leads to....Also the gov can't make up for the inequity, they will and are going broke trying to plug holes (and also squander what's left at the same time).....Then add corporate welfare to the mix on top of it......Now the old American dream is considered dead....

Division is now a part of equation..

Enter Trump,,,,,,Garnering 1/2 the US vote, twice, I think its fair to access the above led to such...Also populism gaining ground world wide....(race to the bottom?) Both sides feed division

Enter polling that indicates all that now effects some 60% of the US population....Every year for decades everything inches up, the cost of living now outweighs the simple concept of The Pursuit of Happiness.....Check credit card debt, 60+ percent can no longer afford a home,,,, 70% can't afford one where they live. To name 2......completely opposite numbers from the 60s and 70s..........

Now kick in inflation after the pandemic pushing people past the edge exasperating the above (pandemic seems to have been a trigger for beginnings of social breakdown...) go back to polling and at the time people are told, 'The stock market is doing Great!'

Now we are at the current situation and the last three years, ....What have we done about division, greed, how are we handling the trump situation, What were and were not the priorities at this time in history...

To be continued...
