I would suggest that Iran, through its proxy Hamas has been occupying Gaza for the past 20 years and its actions have been as harmful to the Palestinians as Israel's has been. Further, that through its proxy Hezbollah, Iran has been occupying Lebanon and through the Houthis, Yemen. Iran is the largest colonizing force in the Middle East.
I know this narrative is unpopular in the Israel bad! colonizer/ oppressor theme so popular around here but it's another way to look at things. Of course everyone here already has their minds made up so, please, continue to wear your blinders.
