I really can’t see a settlement happening. Infringers believe if they hold out and battle the patents, eventually most will be invalidated and then they have nothing to give up. And with the corruption of the PTAB, they may be right. Of course Gilstrap’s court overrules PTAB, but I’m sure he’d prefer to be in agreement with PTAB since they should really be the patent gatekeepers. Such a shame these infringers are sooo big and can cause corruption at such high/important levels. Money and power can affect many things. Even the presentation of truth.
