Meanwhile, American Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed the tripling of American investments in Albania since 2019, he also confirmed that for American companies, one of the sectors that has aroused interest is that of renewable energy.

" We discussed ways to further strengthen our bilateral trade and investments, especially it is important to emphasize that US investments in Albania have tripled since 2019 and this will continue and the business climate will improve.

And in fact we see how there is great potential to diversify Albanian energy sources to also help our common planet and create inclusive economic growth for all, through assistance in hydro, wind and solar energy" stated Blinken .

The energy sector turns out to be a sector that is attracting the most well-known international companies. In recent years, global giants of this sector such as Bechtel, Voltalia, Eni, Shell or Statkraft have come to Albania to invest in various solar, water and wind energy projects or even for other natural resources.
