What you consider price suppression appears to me as Market Maker accumulation of shares for a large purchase by a buyer. For example, if a big buyer or institution wants to buy lets say 1 million shares for a price up to .25 cents, the MM(s) take all the shares they can below that price and then when the have enough to fill the order, they print the trade. While this appears to be a "holding pattern" to stock watchers, it is actually very positive for those who are long term holders as is the case for many here.
