I doubt any respected CPA firm would want to mess with ARYC (especially if it's broke). What sort of documentation remains for an audit? They'd have to go back many years to get some handle on liabilities. Would Rene really want to pay to do that or would she prefer to pay herself a plump salary down the road? And that's assuming any assets remain.
