It's a good idea because the US government wants them and is throwing money at companies that try and put them up.

Somebody needs to explain why they think a US Solar Panel and Battery Manufacturing facility is a good idea.

The question you should be asking why is it a good idea for SNPW?

- with Tsingshan Group as a partner there is no shortage in the supply chain for raw materials

- with Tsingshan Group in South America they might be able to by pass the tariffs and have reduce shipping cost to the US

- if Tsingshan Group" subsidiary FoxEss is producing their Batteries in the US, to avoid the tariffs, they might supply raw materials at a discount, in order to make their subsidiary products better price competitive.

But to answer your question

Between Tariffs,shipping cost and tax incentive for American made the US made solar panels and Batteries pricing should be competitive prices with Foreign producers ad in the strong marketing campaign BUY AMERICAN a US Manufacturer should do well.

I see a major flaw in your philosophy.

Raw material to be imported, local labor is expensive, tax rate is high, finance charges are high etc etc etc. These are very competitive markets. Can a US manufacturing facility compete with Southeast Asia, Mexico, South America. Etc.

One of the most competitive markets in the US is the automobile industry.
Based on your philosophy there would be no reason for Toyota, Subaru, Honda or Kia ,where local labor is expensive, tax rate is high, finance charges are high etc etc etc,.to have manufacturing facilities in the US
But here they are
Foreign cars made in the US, just like the possibility of FoxEss,Sun Group and Pt.IDN products being made in the US being sold by SNPW.
