Literally, cashes their checks and puts the money God knows where, and ghosts them when the debt becomes due. They file incomplete statements reflecting the financial health of the company.
Take a stroll through the number of judgments, tax liens, arrests, and convictions over the last 30 years. Shame on those promoting this as a reasonable avenue of investment for people's hard-earned money.
