Bid-sitting kills momentum, unless one is supporting the bid by keeping a tight spread. I've seen it time and time again where a Ticker will have vast majority of buys vs sells and the PPS will fall due to bid sitting. A very successful trader once told me to buy on the ask...and sell on the ask if you are wanting PPS to go up!
