..in the best of days last year they were flipping regularly by .03.. Freddie had the lead several times for short periods.. now that we know with good probability that there is more equity in 1 FMCC than 1 FNMA.. We gotta see that come back eventually.. You could arbitrage and park here if ur not gonna pay attention and then switch back to Fannie and get 20% more shares at some point, when they are dancing again (with a lil judgement payout side bonus.) I wish I didn't see this so soon I would of took the free arbitrage now.. too easy... (Not financial advise, it would work for me in my situation.) Then again the spread could widen further before then.. There r a lot of posts I write and never submit because they r my thoughts that my DD has conjured everything is not to share and.. posting too much, every qualm or feeling would just bad be etiquette and distasteful..it doesnt age well airing out too much.. especially if its against my long term or short term bias if I truly think we r too high too fast, or i'll point out exhaustion. I may say I'm going half to cash once in awhile and I've traded often.. its healthy for the stock for us to trade it.. especially the fulltimer twins traders reinvesting and keeping our lives healthy and in order.. making extra money is good for this crowd, they have taken enough from us..
