The minimum price to be listed on the Nasdaq global market is $4 per share. Since Nasrat opined that it was $5, it appears he has not researched it and will currently is not entertaining a reverse split to qualify in price.
Once on Nasdaq you need to stay above $1 to avoid delisting. Most reverses are to avoid delisting hence the poor results after announcement of the split.
