The Company's plan is to achieve metric-ton production of spider silk later this year.

Personally, I wasn't expecting to hear of metric ton production until late 2024. Asking them to do everything they've done to this point, and be at metric ton production now would be pie in the sky. Metric ton production and expanding those numbers, while starting to supply Kings Group would easily be a net positive.

Production is growing every week I am sure, but getting the actual numbers isn't going to happen anytime soon. This PR seems to say we will know when we get to producing at least 1 ton.
