I think what many of us aren't* seeing.

Is the obvious seasonal lull for stocks leading up till end of January. Traditionally picking up in February once the Christmas purchases have been financially digested (or at least chewed on).

Then there'll be this steady influx of capital cresting in June or July. Obviously no matter what exchange you're trading on it's going to effect anyone invested. That's what I'm accrediting the current 25% off (likely much higher) too. Seasonal lack of market liquidity.

So anticipate more market volatility as more whales return also, not just penny traders.
