If it doesn't matter I guess you wouldn't have cared if revenue dropped 50% last year instead of growing 50% right? Only 46M instead of 140M, all the same to you?

You invest in a company for their future. What's the future profit potential of a company doing 46M in an industry with 20% average margins? Only 9M profit, that's the goal they would be hoping to reach some day. But IQST is now saying 250M revenue, so their future potential is to hopefully reach 50M profit some day.

So which would you rather hold... A 46M revenue company with average growth (under 10%) doing 20% profit for 9M and you're projecting them out to 2030 thinking they'll maybe get to 80M revenue by then with 16M profit? Or a company doing 250M revenue that has consistantly grown over 40% a year and you're projecting them out to 2030 to be doing over a billion in revenue and maybe 5% margins for 50M profit working towards some day achieving the average 20% margins for 200M+ profits?

You invest in a company for their future. Look farther ahead than next quarter.
