If ants claims are true that bert and the directors might be proven personally liable for their misrepresentations/deception it's probably cheaper for them to settle with shareholders than chance a greater financial costs and possible incarceration. At this point I think shareholders would settle to just get their investment $$ back. IMO bret is broke but the others have deep pockets.
