That was true at a fixed point in time....but time changes things.

Like buying a new car and telling people that the car is worth whatever you paid for it. That, of course, was true at the instance you bought it, but AS TIME PASSES, like when you drive it off the car lot, your situation has changed and your car is depreciating and no longer what you paid for it.
