Ya know, I've never truly considered that a comedy. John Goodman was violent and Julianne Moore was just weird in it.
I always thought being stoned would have made that movie much better.

What is the meaning behind The Big Lebowski?
It's about different life philosophies in an era where nothing means anything anymore. If you notice throughout the film everyone is given some type of philosophic label. Pacifist, fascist, reactionary, nihilist, nympho... and Lebowski is sort of drifting through all of it without an ethos.Jul 1, 2020
