Yes, this is true. However, as a technical analyst. I'm mostly concerned about those that looked good to me due to the chart.
If your reason for buying a stock has changed, then your reason for holding it should as well.
On the other hand, even though they cut the dividend in half, it's still quite hefty.

Just my opinion, of course.
