My thoughts exactly.

Losing the case was always a possibility, and that happens from time to time. 5 years to clean it up and still lose....that happens as well. But going completely dark and wiping their internet footprint?

That rarely ever happens, even to the worst scam companies.

That is what is unacceptable. Unless there is a very good reason...which is there is one it would be novel, as I can't remember this scenario ever happening before.
