I don’t think the statute you’re referring to applies to initiatives. It looks like it applies to other forms of constitutional amendments. I’ve searched the statutes relating to initiatives and cannot find any time limits. But I’m still looking. I e seen April 1 in news stories but not sure where they got that.

Also, consider this with regard to your belief that February 2 is a deadline……..
The Florida Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on the abortion INITIATIVE on Feb 7!
